Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is P.O.T.U. a new religion?]
A: No - it is an addendum for all people of all religions to adopt and to use as a
foundation for transformation.
Q: Why did you create this website?
A: Years ago I created "The Church of What Works" website. It
still exists. It was a "spoof" of sorts born in the
frustration of my not finding any valid answers to many spiritual
and religious questions.
From that "search" the seeds of P.O.T.U. began to be planted within me and those seeds of knowledge and understanding took root. I created this website to give away what took me over 20 years to finally understand and grasp. The understanding transformed my awareness.
I do know how to bring peace to this planet. I know how to end all wars. The problem is - most people are entrenched in religious biases rooted in mythologies ingrained into them from birth that are not taught as mythologies - but as "facts" - these facts empower them to do ungodly things to other human beings, and even themselves.
People around the world need a way of sorting out Divine Truths from non-Divine sources. All the religions of the world - can't be all mostly wrong accept for "YOUR - RIGHT ONE". This is the root of conflict - I'm right - your wrong.
With P.O.T.U. - people can try it out - and use the 5 Part Divinity & Truth Filter - quietly and privately to see if it helps them get to peace around questions and conflicts that they have in their heart - usually all of their lives.
I think of Jesus - and the Christian path - a path filled with many good things, yet, also has many command and control contexts embedded. I do not path that path anymore - but I honor the many lessons learned. The Bible to me was like an active workbook and understanding the truth of the Mythology of Jesus was my final exam.
Jesus is my hero actually. I do not reject him - a context that doesn't make any sense. I just have learned to know him and his mission from a different perspective.
Since most of those visiting this website will have a root somewhere in Christianity as part of their path I want to give you a secret.
Jesus didn't say he'd send "a Bible", or "His Word". He said he would send the "Holy Ghost", or more modernly expressed the "Holy Spirit". He refused worship, most obviously miss that.
Many are disturbed by the Last Supper directives around eating flesh and drinking blood. The very concept that a Divine, Loving, and Unlimited creator would ever need "sacrifices" - doesn't pass the Divinity and Truth Filter. Such things are "ungodly". Nobody however has given you permission to question what should be an obvious falsehood.
Islam - claims to be "peaceful" - but even they cannot deny the "beheading" and "war" doctrines in their sacred texts - nor can they deny the "flat earth" doctrines there. Every member of Islam should ask themselves "who were those scribes?" Where did the lie of a "flat earth" doctrine come from? Only one known source that I am aware of.
If you use an ancient allegedly "holy" text, written by men or women as being an absolute authority - you limit the Unlimited to that period of time, language, geography and to that person or group of people. This is not wise. The truth is, if "one" just "one" lie can be found, or just one - false doctrine, teaching or perspective can be identified - then yes - the entire document/writing should be open for deep scrutiny. Especially if it is all claimed to be of Divine Source.
We human beings are so busy we no longer have the time or energy to care about such things. We've outsourced our beliefs rather than have taken responsibility for them.
We seek "proof" and in finding non in our present - we look back to mythologies that we accept as factual stories. We will even believe witnesses that we do not know, and have never met but we embrace stories about them as if they are fact. If we take the time to actually run a timeline - and research sources - it soon becomes clear - we are chasing stories in history which have inspired war, ruling over others, enslaving others, torturing and killing men, women and yes, children all in the name of some "God".
USA President Bush is quoted as saying "God wanted me to invade...", it is my understanding that over 1 million innocent Iraqis' have died in our "War on Terror".
Removing of cancers has it's place on this planet. P.O.T.U. contexts carefully allow for this consideration. It is not a happy one, but a necessary one in our world today.
We have lost much in our understanding of ourselves and what works and does not work with human beings.
POTU is a gift for you to explore.
You cannot change the world. I cannot change the world. But I can change "my" world. You can change "YOUR" world. If enough of us change our worlds - 'THE" world will change. - It's a POTU thing.
